This landmark restoration of an 1883 Victorian estate in Riverdale Park, Maryland, represents a complex preservation effort aimed at saving a piece of local history. Entrusted with reworking every structural and aesthetic detail, iBuilditbetter specified elite Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry MD | DC to establish a high-end, period-correct kitchen environment. The room's vertical volume features a custom architectural application where 3/4" x 5" natural Hickory flooring was installed directly onto the ceiling to anchor the center island footprint below. The fenestration package utilizes Anderson 400 Woodwright maple units detailed with custom Frank Lloyd Wright Art Glass. The mechanical core of the space is built for culinary performance, seamless integrating twin Kohler farmhouse undermounts sinks, a Viking Professional 48" dual-fuel stove, and Sub-Zero 48" Pro-Refrigerator, all framed by historic-grade Australian Cypress flooring
